Food Allergy & Environment Profile Panel
Food Allergy & Environmental Panel evaluates 286 food sensitivities such as vegetables, meat, seafood, nuts, fruits and more. It also includes 165+ allergens such as grass, tree, weed and other pollens, wasp, ant and other insect venoms, fungal, yeast, pet and farm animals, mites and even spices like oregano.
Environmental and food allergies differ not only by source, but exposure. Environmental allergies are triggered by coming into contact with the foreign substance through inhalation or skin contact during day-to-day activities. Food allergies are an immune response after ingestion. Symptoms of either source can range from sneezing, itching, congestion, skin rash, gastrointestinal distress and, in extreme cases, anaphylaxis.
Results assist practitioners to curate diet and lifestyle guidance for their patients to reduce and eliminate symptoms related to adverse allergen reactions.
